Any experience with JHU CTY program?

I don't even know why we did the testing, but now my 3rd grader was accepted to the JHU Center for Talented Youth program. To be honest, I still have no idea what they do. I have gotten a course book and I've heard about a summer program. Has anyone actually sent their kid to this? Or do you even send your kid? Is it online?

Check out the online group for the Gifted and Talented Association of Montgomery County (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GTAletters/). Search for CTY (all messages are publicly available) or join and ask--I think a number of people there have experience with the program.
