In a surprise move the cover girl, Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition icon, and supermodel known as “the face” in the 1980s (because she was on so many magazine covers) -Carol Alt- has joined “Only Fans.”

She makes a great point. She states that she should own her own content and stay up with the times.

Is “only fans” becoming normalized? Will it eventually become a median for all celebrities and supermodels?

I don't think it necessarily means she's posting porn. For a regular person, I would assume it's pornographic content because they're not famous enough for people to purchase their content, but for a celebrity, maybe not.

No disrespect, I like Carol Alt, but I'm not sure who would be in the market for this (nudes or not).

Britney Spears is someone who could make a killing on that platform with or without nudity.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking. If the celebrities own their own content, then they can pull up their old content, etc. and make it available on only fans.

It might be old content that she owns. I’m sure she has thousands of photos that were never released from the 80s and 90s or it might be new content where she discusses fashion, health fitness, etc. and it might be new contact news. There’s always a market or some.
