I’m in DC for a conference next month. I really love an adventurous, high end meal, but my husband is a basic eater, and rather frugal, so I rarely get the chance. So, when I travel a few times a year on business, I like to go out alone with the sky’s the limit on budget. If you could do this in DC, where would you go? I’m really not limited on type of food, I’ve done everything from omakase to classic French.
Rooster & Owl is pretty good and nice for alone dining. Would recommend you sit at the bar for dinner.
Jose Andres’ Bazaar.
Jont and Pineapple and Pearls were just recognized by Michelin again.
Thanks guys! I love tasting menus, and pineapple and pearls isn’t open during my trip, so Jont it is! I’ll keep looking here in case any other tasting menus for places open Sunday - Tuesday show up!
Causa!
OP here. Looks amazing but only open wed - sat. I’ll keep in on my list for future! |
Rose’s Luxury is not as high ends as some of these suggestions but is wonderful (same owner as Pineapples and Pearls).
