| What am I missing? I want one, and price range seems to be from 32k to 110k. Are these even the same car? Can someone explain? |
|
Ford Bronco has many different models
Ford Bronco sport would be the lower end with a Bronco being top end. It’s a crappy car with horrible reliability why in the world would you want one? Fords are junk period signed mechanic |
| The Bronco and the Bronco Sport are entirely different models. |
| I looked into buying one. They are really cool. Crash test results were terrifying tough. Check them out before you buy. |
| It’s the new midlife crisis car. |
| The Sport is a car for a teenager. |
| The moms in my neighborhood are replacing their minivans with these. |
Odd…because I know a few guys who turn wrenches for a living, and they call themselves “techs”, not “mechanics”. “Mechanic” is what people who don’t know how to work on cars call people who do. |
Cool. People should drive something they enjoy driving. |
| As far as the top end expensive one. Go on YouTube and search Bronco Raptor R. A total bad as high speed ride! |
|
OP here. How bad could any new car be nowadays in terms of reliability?
For comparison, I have been driving a newer Mazda, Toyota, or Subaru for about the last 16 years. |
| Do you specifically want a new bronco? If not the older ones are much better and they're very reliable. |
I’m open to older but how much older? Ford had stopped making these for a while. |
I personally prefer the 1994 to 1996 body style, I've owned a 1995 bronco for 10 years and i've put 500,000 miles on it with no major issues. |
So you are suggesting someone daily drive a 30 year old car as an alternative to the new bronco? If reliability is a concern then I would wait on the new Toyota Landcruiser or the upscale Lexus GX as alternatives to the Bronco. I personally love classic and vintage cars but that isn’t a car I would recommend or use for everyday family transportation. |
