My DS rode his bike with his friends for a couple of hours. Now online playing games with them. I have to work and am struggling through a head cold so my drive to entertain him is pretty low.

These two days have been off for decades, it has nothing to do with the SB.

I taught for FCPS and my DW still does so. She had meetings this morning and is currently looking at plans. Many of my ES teacher friends have today and much of tomorrow filled with conferences with parents and are working to enter grades into SIS.

These days at the end of the quarter are nothing new.

My son went on a field trip to iFly with the community center/teen center. Tomorrow he will work on a school project at a partner's house for a couple hours and have a tennis lesson in the afternoon. In between will probably be online gaming and/or youtube videos.

What are you talking about? I went to FCPS schools from the early 1980s through mid 1990s, taught in FCPS from 1999- 2020, and have had kids in FCPS for 12 years. FCPS has ALWAYS had two days off at the end of first quarter.

haircut, soccer field, ice skating, chores, reading, cleaning room, making dinner. Treating it like a regular extended weekend.

My kid and I were both super glad not to have to get up so freaking early! Will be glad when MS is over!!
