Lakelands middle school math pathway

| We are moving from out of state and my dc will be attending Lakelands Middle school. Our friend from a different middle school is getting bused to the local high school to take algebra 2 in 8th grade. Was wondering if that’s an option for 8th graders at lakelands to bus to quince orchard high school for 8th grade algebra 2. Can any parents out there comment? |

| Yes my son’s friend did it. This was years ago though. You might want to ask the school. |

| Yes, there are kids that take some classes in QO and then go back to LPMS for other classes |

| Was not an option when my kid was there but I think they are doing it now. Not the best planning though since I think these kids run out of math classes at QO. My kid went to poolesville after taking geometry in 8th. Went into the functions class with some kids from other schools who had taken Alg2. Was fine for my kid and did not have to get bused around. |
