Pasta roller recommendation

Anonymous
I’m looking to buy a pasta roller for a gift. I have no experience using them nor does the giftee. There are so many brands and price points. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

1) If the recipient has a kitchen aid, the pasta roller attachment it great.
2) If you are buying a stand alone unit, buy one made in Italy. These are pieces of precison equipment, and you can trust the Italian brands to me engineered properly. No way of knowing about the brands made elsewhere.
3) definitely get a powered machine. Not a hand roller.

Is this for someone in Italy?
