At 8am EST for those who took them early October.
Ps I am nervous…( for my son) I can only admit this here. |
Why nervous? They don’t really matter. |
How will you access the scores? |
Kids can see it in their College board website accounts.
No idea why I am nervous, maybe because sounds like such a big test- to assess how the actual SAT maybe; also this will show if they will qualify for National Merit. |
Most kids have very little chance of qualifying for national merit. This is not anything to be nervous about. It’s terrible the schools still give the PSATs during a school day when the SATs are optional for so many. |
PSATs meaning nothing. Many schools will not even except the merit scholarships. I think their max is $3000 which may be helpful, but not life changing.
|
It’s accept. |
Why are you nervous? |
I get it. I hope you get good news. I know they don't really matter, but for my junior they were important. My kid had been prepping for the November SAT, so an increase over the PSAT10 was a good sign that the work they were doing was having an impact. It's positive reinforcement. Luckily, the results show a nice improvement over last year and we are hopeful that the SAT will show the same type of result. Also, it's a good data point for how they perform on the digital test. |
are the scores out? |
yes |
My daughter was also using this as an indicator of improvement before her December SAT. Her math went up but her reading went down. She is upset. I’m wondering what impact the digital vs paper format change had. Also, it doesn’t seem like the kids can see what questions they got wrong this time? |
Yeah. It looks like you can just see examples of the questions from that section. |
What is the cut off this year for NM finalist? |
Depends on your location and is unknown at this point. |
