Anyone eating "Primal"?

Anonymous
DH and I are trying this, not as a diet but as a way to eat. Does anyone have any primal friendly recipes or almond flour recipes they love?

Oh lord no

Excuse my ignorance but what does this mean? All I can picture is someone gnawing on a bone like an animal.

Google it if you don't know what it is or don't comment.

My husband and I ate primal for the month of April and we both lost weight, lost inches, and felt better. We have since loosened it up a bit, but we still try to stay away from processed foods and starch. DS just turned one and is on full table foods, so it is hard to be truly primal with him -- we like to eat as a family and he needs starches and other things his body can convert to sugar. Haven't really done much by way of special recipes (mostly, we just ate a meat and a side salad for every meal and lots of eggs and avocados in the morning), but DS mentioned getting the primal blueprint cookbook yesterday, so I guess that's where we are heading next.

I'm not a huge fan of the primal blueprint cookbook but I love The Gluten Free Almond Flour Cookbook and The Everyday Grain Free Cookbook. We also like this website http://primalmatriarch.blogspot.com/
