Favorite cornichons?

Anonymous
I have tried a bunch, but have not been good about keeping track of brands. Which brands are your favorites? No gherkins, just cornichons!

Brands that I can get at a grocery store would be appreciated - I’m sure there are many specialty brands that I can order online, but I am looking for the more common ones! I have Maille and TJ in my fridge at the moment - between those two I prefer TJ.

Following. I used to love Maille but something has been off with them the last 2ish years.

OP here. I think Maille is not as crunchy as it used to be. TJ is very crunchy and a little too acidic and one note compared to Maille, but the crispness is more important to me, I guess. Someone recommended hengstenberg, will give that a try and report back.

I love the TJ ones. I can go through 3 jars in a week with no problem.
