| I'm looking for a cafe where I can enjoy a tasty coffee drink in a nice environment. I need WiFi to get some work done too. Anywhere in NWDC to Bethesda area. Every place I normally go is either tiny, has no tables available, or has no WiFi. |
| It’s a chain, but I really like Tatte |
|
The Tattes I've gone to (Bethesda and Foggy Bottom) are very noisy, so that would be a no for me. Also, the customer service has not been good (waiting too long, mixing up orders, etc).
|
| If you're up for going a little bit east, Takoma Bevco is delicious and has big indoor and outdoor seating areas. Normally no trouble at all getting a seat unless you're there during weekend brunch time. |
| Tatte is so busy at least every time I have been. |

Tryst is our neighborhood’s classic WFH location; not like it used to be be, but suffices a pinch. Pitango also a good spot especially if you can snag an outdoor seat. Both are hit or miss whether you’ll get a table, like the majority of places.
Use your phone hotspot if connectivity is an issue, which is often can be with public WiFi. |
OP here - Pitango is it! Thanks. Tryst is too crowded for me. |
| Big bear cafe, especially when it's warm enough to sit outside |
