Hi, I live in NYC and my family is middle class with an income of $250k. I got 7,9,7,7 on the ISEE. I have perfect grades in school, great teacher recs, and over 10 clubs. I run cross country, garden, knot, do embroidery, and I have had very good interviews. Based on this do you think I could get into the following schools: Brearley School, Chapin School, Riverdale Country School (first choice), Trinity School, Spence School. Thank you.

Are you a minority? For cross country, are you good enough to be a recruited college athlete? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then yes, you have a very good chance at these schools. If not, you have a decent shot but you never know... your test scores could be a little higher to make you more competitive.

If you get it you’re not going to get much (or any) aid, and on that hhi a 60K tuition isn’t going to be easy. What are your other plans?

Yes, you have a good shot and you will get significant aid at a HHI of $250k. Just know that you are competing for the Financial Aid seats and there are far fewer of those and divided by sex (more or less).
