| I do not recommend KidKraft. Multiple handles and ice machine broke super fast. |

| I like our pottery barn kids kitchen. We’ve had it for three years now and lovely looking. It’s held up well through two kids and very regular use. |

KidKraft is garbage and falls apart instantly. Is also just fiberboard, not solid wood, for anyone looking for less toxic options.
I love the two Step2 kitchens we’ve have. Most parts are plastic 2 or 5 so fairly non toxic as plastics go. Melissa and Doug makes the best play food. |

We had a Kidkraft Farm to Table model and it was very stylish. I liked it. Yes, fiberboard and generally meh quality but it held up ok and the kids had lots of fun with it.

| I love our Melissa and doug one- and glad to read this thread as I always wanted kidkraft based on the anesthetics and a neighbor put a pink melissa and doug one on the curb. My kid uses it every day ( only 13 months) and the ice machine is so fun |

| PP who does not recommend a KidKraft, I would suggest Melissa & Doug or IKEA from what I’ve seen recommended elsewhere. Those were the others I’d considered (and regret not getting one of). The Step2 seems fine, too, if you’re into the plastic look. My 2 year old has played with it at a couple friends’ houses and seems to like it just fine. You’re prob good with any of those options. |
