| Spur of the moment, family emergency, I need to go down Monday. Any hotel recommendations? |
| The Omni is nice and centrally located. |
| We like the Draftsman, but it's gotten a little pricey |
|
Omni was not nice in summer of 2022, maybe things have changed?
The Graduate is decent but maybe not as central as you may want to be. |
| Quirk is very nice. |
|
Keswick is wonderful, but it sounds like you may not spend much time there and the cost isn’t worth it.
There’s a Hampton Inn close to downtown and a Hyatt Place near maybe Rio Road that will do the job in a pinch. |
| if it's medical related, the Hampton Inn is also closish to the hospital. |
+1 |

Fancy:
Keswick Boar's Head Draftsman Forum Good: Omni Barebones, but still nice: Quirk Graduate Predictable: Courtyard & Hampton at the hospital Highway chains |
| Oakhurst Inn is really nice and very close to the Hospital and Grounds. |
| The new Kimpton Forum is fantastic. |
I really like this place and Quirk if you need somewhere aesthetically pleasing. But for affordable chains that are centrally located, I prefer the Residence Inn downtown. Easily walkable to food and conveniences, nice to have extra space and the kitchen in your room, parking here is more convenient than anywhere else downtown. Avoid the Omni at all costs. |
| Little Mod is new and I heard it's nice but haven't been yet. |
Walkable to the university if that helps. |
| It’s not really safe anymore. I would reconsider |
