I need new grocery ideas

I’m so sick of getting the same things every week. What are your favorite groceries - for meals, snacks and treats?

My mom recently introduced me to a new snack that I'm going to get for my house too:

Pretzel sticks (I like Snyders!) dipped in Chocolate hummus (she had Boar's head brand)

My friend brought a snack to the pool this summer that I still think about but I haven't bought for myself because I wonder how healthy the dip is - but I would serve it at a party! It was Stacy pita chips with cava - crazy feta dip. If someone tells me that dip is "healthy" I'll but it for myself, haha. I didn't look at the ingredients.

Always on my list are cucumber, peppers, red onion and feta to cut in big chunks for a salad.

Maybe get some root veggies to roast to switch things up? I like a mix of sweet potato, fennel, Brussels sprouts, onion, maybe some beets or carrots.

For snacks I eat cottage cheese with some rice crackers, string cheese, macadamia nuts, Greek yogurt, or I made chia pudding with protein powder and fruit.

I have been buying honeynut squash and roasting them - so much easier and tastier than butternut squash. Also I like to roast cauliflower and Brussel sprouts.

For quick meals for myself, I saute mushrooms and onions and make a spicy tofu stew.

I just heated up a frozen corn dog and it hit the spot!

I swam a mile today, BTW.

Lately I am into the following:

brioche with fried eggs and Canadian bacon for breakfast

homemade soups: split pea, avgolemono, chicken matzo ball

Hearty warm meals like chicken stew

fresh yogurt with berries

dark chocolate Doves

fresh bread with salted butter

tuna salad with celery and mayo, Saltines

salted almonds, Comte, fig jam, crackers

I'm really getting into fish lately. I'm getting aggressive about eating fish three times a week. Generally into salmon, shrimp, black cod, sea bass, and scallops.

Tart cherries in jars in phyllo pasty is the best. You don't need sugar, but you can put it if you wish.
Smoked salmon of course, German pickles.

Not sure if this is real or parody…

Take those roasted veggies and puree them into broth for a delicious harvest veggie soup!

I eat a lot of chicken, I love provolone cheese, black olives, cantaloupe, strawberries and papaya. I love fruit and eat a lot of it. I eat mostly the same things but mix up the fruits and vegetables to keep it more interesting as I have a lot of food allergies.

For snacks I LOVE Mott's no sugar added applesauce both the blueberry one and the strawberry ones. Such good snacks! Try them op.

Crazy feta is pretty much jalapeños and feta. If you’re of the mind that real food is fine, then it’s fine.

I really enjoy celery. Celery salad with olives and harissa, celery with good old ranch, celery with peanut butter in it. Or cream cheese.
