horrible front desk at columbia fertility center

Anonymous
Hi, ladies:
horrible and horrible experiences with the front desk at Columbia fertility center. This group of front desk staff needs to be replaced immediately, if this infertility center wants to survive. The staff didn't upload your test results which came out two weeks ago and told you that you need to wait until the doctor's next appointment in a month to go over any test results. Or at best, to pay to get your test results in another five days. OMG! The test results came out over two weeks ago and they didn't notify me. Instead, the front desk created all kinds of troubles to give them to you, because they are too lazy to bother themselves for you and they don't care about losing patients at all. Is there anybody in connection with the Dr Sak and Dr Abbasi and let them know the problems of the front desk?
Hard to imagine that it is a infertility clinic, who needs to report lab work and test results on a timely manner.
big warning sign!!!

Sadly, I think they know, and do try to show they are addressing it. I started with them in June and have loads of stories. Usually if I want test results, I mention in person during appointments to her that I want them and her people aren't responding to me and she kind of annoyed tells them to print them off. One time they did that and gave me someone else's too (HELLO HIPAA VIOLATION!). Or they never called me with monitoring results and I called after hours. Dr. Sacks was very nice and the nurses got a talking to the next day by Dr. Abbasi. Still, I've been at three clinics now and it's appalling how bad they are run. There's a clustereff with almost every interaction. But if you need a reproductive immunology in the DMV, you are kind of stuck.

it's horrible... but i love dr sacks so it's a hard tradeoff to leave as any other clinic it's hard to see your dr regularly and at CFA you see your dr for every monitoring/procedure

Usually these jobs are really low pay. I'm guessing the workers are paid $15 per hour.

I sent Dr. Saks an email at his request after bleeding after transfer was not marked on my charts and the embrylogists gave me conflicting information and did not answer my question until I came in to do my pregnancy test. Doesn't sound like anything changed since I left. Dominion and Shady Grove both do much better at communication

Make sure to leave reviews online all over even yelp.

I saw Dr Sacks 15 years ago. Nothing has changed and I left due to the stress of the office, not the doctor. It will clearly never change.

I suppose the doctors (or whomever owns the practice) are unwilling to pay for better help. If they want good people at the desk, then there should be incentives that attract and retain helpful, intelligent, and polite staff. Pay the minimum and that’s what you will get.

Ditto. Horrible experience there. I switched to Shady Grove.

They still owe me $75 from January. Apparently they cut and mailed checks twice that never arrived.

From the sound of it, they are not meeting the requirements of the job and should be paid nothing at all.
