The Hamas attack on Israel has Russia and China written all over it

The level of sophistication, the scale, the fact that it occurred during a time of relative peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians with no clear rationale behind it on the side of Hamas, it's clear this had at the very least Iran as one of the planning parties... and Iran being in close coordination with Russia and China it's likely it had the blessing of these countries as well. Russia and China benefitted enormously from the post 9/11 Western distraction in the middle east and would like nothing more than another major war in the region to distract the US from Taiwan/Ukraine and to further bleed our supply of weaponry that could be used to hinder their own plans of aggression now and in the future.
