Private lessons at The St James

Anonymous
I have seen a lot of recommendations for Private lessons at the St James. Does anyone have a specific coach recommendation> looking for support for an advanced HS/club swimmer that needs some adjustments. TIA

If by advanced, you mean the the kid already has PVS champs cuts, I wouldn't recommend private lessons at the St. James for that.

When people recommend that, they're talking about much younger kids who are looking to solidify basic stroke technique.

Why wouldn't you talk to someone at the club where your child is swimming? It can be a different coach than their primary coach if they just need a new perspective. There's also Fitter and Faster camps or the underwater video thing that's linked to Machine (but it's not the club itself?).

Has anyone tried Swimbox? Was it effective? My DS needs someone to help strengthen his starts and turns.

Swimbox is straight stroke technique. Nothing on starts and turns.

The Fitter Faster clinics do start and turn camps.
