Any links to great ones? They “Why” essays?

Looking at the last 2 for my daughter before she submits - maybes it’s fatigue - but even with an intro hook, they are boring.


Any random examples out there?

I think it's really hard to make a 'why' essay very interesting, especially if they are referencing specific programs, etc.

The "why" essays should focus on specific programs within the academics of the university, specific activities and clubs the applicant may want to pursue etc. Obviously nothing is binding, but the schools want to see where this applicant plugs into their community and won't just be someone who plays video games or hangs out doom-scrolling all day.

At this point in the application process, probably caffeine, b vitamins and fish oil.

The College Essay Guy has many examples in his book. Maybe google him.
