Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
Was it good or bad? Do you really think it's cheaper? Did you assemble there, dish n go or have it delivered? Is it kid friendly food? How much room does each entree take in the freezer and do you have to provide your own tupperwear?
I had it delivered 2 yrs ago when on bed rest. The food was ok, but not much better than grocery store frozen meals. I prefer Dinner Done, though it takes longer to cook, but tastes better. I found the price not too bad and overall almost cheaper than buying everything at the grocery store to make meals etc. However, I do prefer to make my own meals, but am once again on bed rest.
I have done it before. It is convenient an did not take up too much room. I can make better dishes, but for having something easy in the freezer, I do like it.

back in the day when I had time, energy and inclination, I used to browse these sorts of websites and get ideas for meals then go make them myself. have to admit tho' never been to a location myself... know a few coworkers who have and most think they are a bit overpriced for what you get but YMMV.

I've done it twice and thought it was just OK.
If you can't/don't cook, it's great. I went with my best friend who does not cook at all, and she loved it, loved having the meals in the freezer, etc. because she normally struggles with making a pot of spaghetti with jarred sauce. I thought most of the food was not as good as what I normally make at home myself. I did really like their quesadillas, though. Some things are very simple, like a salmon fillet with a marinade - those dishes, IMO, aren't really worth the extra cost. |
Lately I've heard better reviews for Dinner Done. And looking at the prices, they're substantially less than Let's Dish.
Overpriced muck.
