This morning’s full moon and sunrise were breathtaking.

No point to this post other than sheer awe and wonder at Mother Nature.

If anyone was fortunate enough to be awake and outside between 6:30 and 7 this morning, there was quite a show. I’m in Germantown and got out to Black Hills before dawn and the full moon was so huge it lit up the whole reservoir (there are no streetlights on that road) and then the sunrise shortly followed the moonset and it was spectacular, especially the glow over the foliage.

Wasn't it cloudy? I woke up a little after that and there were clouds in my neck of the woods. But late last night the moon peeked out of the clouds and it was gorgeous.
