Tony Sabio auctioned off a semi-automatic rifle to raise money for his campaign for Providence School Board seat.

The same type of gun used in the deadliest mass shooting in American history!!!

This man is dangerous and should not be within 250 feet of a school.

Was he on school property with a gun? Was the firearm transferred illegally?

If so, that’s a problem. If not, I don’t see the issue, so Mr. Potato Head and his friends should calm down.

Even if it's legal, that is VERY INSENSITIVE.
And he should not be anywhere near a position of authority anywhere, if he's that clueless about people's feelings.

What makes it worse is that it's probably a stunt. There's no way auctioning off a weapon will raise enough to campaign. So he's doing it on purpose to get attention, thinking that any attention is better than none.

I'd rather have someone who cares about saving lives on a school board than someone who sells his semi-automatic... that he shouldn't be allowed to have and shouldn't associate with schools given how many schoolchildren have died in mass shootings with semi-automatics!
