| Any tips for surviving? Anything you used? It’s almost unbearable. But not painful. |

How far postpartum are you? These can be a sign of postpartum preeclampsia which needs immediate treatment. Call your OBGYN asap.
If you have a home BP cuff, take your BP. |
This, but if you're less than a year PP, it still applies, doesn't matter if it's 6 weeks or 6 months. Call your OB. |
Four days. Swelling is only in the immediate area, not arms or legs. |
Oh ok like vaginal? Good, that sounds less like an emergency but still annoying! Definitely ice if you can, or just apply something cold, for short and frequent periods of time. Keep moving and hydrating. Co grants and good luck. |
| Make freezer pads. Take a large pad, line it with tucks and a squirt of aloe. Fold it back up and freeze it. Then take it on and out it on- feels like heaven. |
| Did your hospital hook you up with the ingredients for padsicles? It's an instant cold pack that you activate, line with witch hazel pads, and then coat with anti-itch spray. |
Yeah, I have a bunch of these and it’s not really cutting it even with the witch hazel and the spray. Got minor temporary relief from a sitz bath but then it was back to being miserable. I’m guessing I just have to wait this out. |

Are you also taking ibuprofen? That is what helped me so much, in combination with the padsicles. Even if you aren’t having any swelling when it’s time for the next dose, just take it. I think I was taking 600mg every 6 hours (under direction from my OB).
Also using the peri bottle and patting as dry as possible was helpful. |
I realized this afternoon that I had forgotten last night’s and this morning’s dose. I quickly restarted and am hoping that things improve after my next dose. |
| Just want to say sorry, OP. I remember how horrible the postpartum healing process was. |
