Greetings!
I am Marshall Anthony Jr., Research Director at The Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS) in DC. This fall, TICAS is leading a project on early childhood education and the impact of requiring childcare educators to have credentials. The goal is to hear from the following target groups (in DC proper): teachers/practitioners, childcare/daycare operators, policymakers, and advocates. We are still looking for participants. I am hoping you will consider participating and/or help share this opportunity with your network of practitioners, providers, and/or advocates. If so, please complete and/or share the following intake form by 5pm ET on next Fri, Nov. 3: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeYxFv52ajNoQhN3E_mp2LgafMryDqW_QDvWfGaRXf8psKuPA/viewform Note: Each interviewee will be asked to participate in a 60-90min. virtual focus group and we’re offering to pay each participant $50 for their time. All interviews will only be heard and analyzed by the research team, and themes from the interviews will not include any identifiable information. Focus groups will cover experiences in the early childcare education field, credential requirements' pros/cons, and practitioners' pay levels. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thank you in advance! Sincerely, Marshall Marshall Anthony Jr., Ph.D. (he/him/his) Research Director The Institute for College Access & Success manthony@ticas.org |
