For perimenopausal women?

Have had 90% of my cycles for the last 17 years. Normal.

Anything that’s unpredictable and makes you feel f$&ed up means you’re doing it right I’m pretty sure.

My gyn said very common. I was sent for an ultrasound after it happening a few months, but all was normal.

Is it normal to be brown in color?

I am wondering about this. My ovulation mucus is thick and stretchy, and seems to serve as a conduit for the prior cycle's old blood. I don't bleed freshly. But old oxidized blood comes out when I ovulate. Can someone tell me why!?

53, perimenopausal. About 3 years ago I started spotting more ... before period, after period, and in the middle occassionally!

I went to the GYN she ran tests - everything normal - she said it's fine. Interestingly, the last 6 month or so I haven't had any spotting mid-cycle. But cycles are getting shorter!

Yes that's just old blood.

What tests did your gyn run?

I have never had this and I’m 47. Depends on you.

I started spotting mid cycle when I had a fibroid.

It’s the new normal for me. I don’t like it! I wear pantiliners pretty much all the time now. It’s hard to find cotton ones without a plastic back, but they’re so great.
