My kid's school has 1 speech therapist, 4 para educators, 1 music teacher, 1 PE teacher, 2 art teacher, 1 reading specialiat, 1 media specialist. There are almost 800 kids for school. It seems quite low.

Usually, once you get to around 500 kids you qualify for part-time support for Art/Music/PE. Librarians and Reading specialists are set at one teacher per school regardless of size. You should be allocated at least 1 full-time and one part-time counselor

This staffing document is out of date I can't find a more up-to-date one but it gives you a general idea

I wonder if the school administration is slacking on hiring people or if there are people being hired but the website or staffing directory is out of date?

Here's a staffing document about the number of art/music/PE teachers per school. It is not based on overall enrollment it is based on the number of classrooms. What is hard is that a lot of art/music/PE teachers are left to cobble together a full workweek by bouncing around to multiple schools and sometimes these positions are not staffed if you can't find a part time specialist who needs the hour allocations and their schedule can accomodate the school's schedule
