Is anyone watching the "Fall of the House of Usher"? it has the cast of Hill House and other tv series from the same creator Mike Flanagan:

The original is a short story, not a book. And no. All the episodes kind of obliquely reference (or are loosely inspired by) various Poe stories and poems. It's very cool if you know what to look for, but this series is NOT an adaptation by any stretch.

I am loving it! I love mike flannagan, and love the cast he tends to keep.

I think haunting of hill house and Midnight mass were my previous faves, I'll wait to finish Usher to see if it bumps either out of top 2

Me too! the actors are all fantastic. The one after hill house - The Haunting of Bly Manor - had Nell other familiar faces.

Before I Wake, Ouija: Origin of Evil - was AWESOME. PG13 but scary. 2016

He's married IRL to the actor (Kate Siegel) who played Theo in Haunting of Hill House and many other series.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was a student of Poe! But I did enjoy it!

I never watched Bly Manor so might go do that. My two favorite flannagans to date are def Hill House and Midnight Mass!

This was good but quite different! I felt like maybe there was like 1-2 too many kids haha as the format got a little tedious by episode 6/7 and I was dying to get to ep 8 by then.

It wasn’t my favorite of his series, but definitely a good one. The lemon monologue was damn impressive.

It's good. I'm about 2/3 of the way through. It isn't holding my attention as well as some other shows, but the acting and production values are excellent.

The woman who plays Verna(Carla……) is a fabulous actor. She is so convincing in all the parts she played.

Did anyone like the gray hair on Kate Siegel character? She’s so gorgeous she can pull it off.

I totally agree! She has to play like 10 diff characters on this show (where everyone else has 1) and she KILLS it. Love her.

I have new respect for Mark Hamill as an actor as I did not think of Star Wars once in his scenes (ditto Henry Thomas and ET).

I actually didn't recognize Mark Hamill as Pym! It wasn't til I looked up the cast online did I realize it. he is amazing!!!!

this group reminds me of the American Horror story cast - how they work on different series and are so convincing. I love recognizing the faces.

How scary are the subsequent ones compared to Hill House? I loved Hill House but it impacted my sleep like no scary series or movie ever has before (I think it's all the hidden ghosts?).
