Definitely NOT pregnant. My right breast feels swollen and painful like milk is coming in or I’m pregnant, but I weaned 5 months ago.
Anyone BTDT? Would you follow up with GP or OBGYN? |
OBGYN and get a mammo / US
This happened to me. I had mammo to be sure but nothing. Never figured it out but it took months to fully go away.
Follow up with OBGYN. Also, you’re sure You aren’t pregnant again?
Maybe about to get your first postpartum period?
Get the sore breast hot in the shower and then see if you need to hand express any milk. This happened to be a couple of times after weaning. I could squeeze my breasts in the shower and milk would come out almost 2 years after weaning. It's not uncommon.

OP here. I have an appointment this afternoon. The pain in my breast was bad enough I had trouble sleeping last night. I was able to hand express milk out of both breasts in my morning shower. The breast in question was always my "lazy breast" with milk production.

They probably just got confused but might be good to run it by an OB anyway.
OP here. OB did not feel any lumps and did not think it would be mastitis at this point. She reassured me inflammatory breast cancer would be extremely rare. I have an ultrasound next week and we'll go from there. Fingers crossed.
I'm glad for you, OP.
