How to be less memorable and blend in

Anonymous
I want to be less memorable and easy to forget. I've always had the problem that people remember me too well even after 1 short interaction and I'd like to just blend in. For example, I lost my id once and couldn't find it so I ordered a new one. I went food shopping and a clerk ran up to me to hand me my lost ID. I hadn't been to that store in 2-3 weeks but she saw my face and told me she remembered that they had my ID and they had just been talking about me. In the past I've gone shopping and had clerks tell me they were watching me shop, remember when I came last or ask about where I'm from because I look interesting. I'm Middle Eastern looking (and not beautiful) and wear normal clothing in colors like black, gray and navy from brands like Madewell, Anne Klein etc. The latest was I went to a walk in clinic about 6 weeks ago for bronchitis and returned because I'm still coughing and the nurse walked in and said that she definitely remembers me and could here the doctor and nurse talk about my case and that they definitely remembered me. How can I be less noticeable?

A couple things

1. The store thing sounds pretty generic and just like one of those sale tactics where they try to make you feel special so you'll spend money with them. That said, if you go to the same shops, people do remember you. My mom is a 70 something year old basic white woman but she shops at the same few shops and they all remember her

2. Do you live somewhere where your look may not be as common? I have more exotic looking features and when I've lived places less diverse, I've definitely gotten more attention because I stood out

Why do you need to? These examples seem …fairly benign? No one is harassing you because they remember you, just making conversation. These are all service providers as well, so they probably make a point & pride themselves on remembering their clients.
