How many App notifications is good amount

My preschool is sending me notifications on the App every few min. About everything ( playing, eating, bathroom every time. I am trying to figure out when the teachers actually do something with children. I know they are trying to empress the parents (marketing). What do you think.

How old is the child?

We got lots of notifications when my child was in the infant/toddler room with 3 teachers for 6 babies. Every diaper change, meal, nap was logged and there were usually a few photos per day as well. Once she moved up to the 2s room notifications were significantly lessened. Now we get a daily report of the daily activities (for the whole class), a couple of photos that they post during nap time, and maybe a note about how much lunch she ate.

Check your account settings. You can set it to only send the daily log. They are required to log meals, diapering, and naps. It’s not marketing, it’s for licensing. We had ours setup so we’d only get pictures throughout the day, and then would get the summary of all other activities at the end of the day.

Some parents want a lot, some parents want few. You can turn your notifications off if you are in the latter group.
