Cleaning and Organizing

My mom is elderly and not well anymore. She cannot clean her own apartment, or keep it organized. We used to live there as a family of four, she has been living alone since my dad died 10 years ago. She has since filled up any space that became available with more stuff, resulting in a messy, crowded apartment full of things people don’t need. She is not a hoarder by any means though. She needs a cleaning lady desperately, but with the labor shortage where she lives, she can’t find anyone. Let alone someone who wants to clean a place like that. I am a bit annoyed that since she’s been living there alone, she didn’t take the time to clean out massive amounts of useless stuff, she did the opposite and filled up any freed up space. What can I do?

Pay someone extra to drive to her from further away.

I used this to find a company to help downsize before my parents move. They might be able to also recommend a cleaning company once it’s been organized.
