5th grade AAP Math

Is there a math test that 5th grade aap students take that allows them to do 6th grade aap math?

I heard some kids in our school do that.

5th grade students in full time level 4 are taking 6th grade math. They would have to take advanced math in 6th grade, (7th grade math,) because that's really the only option, they can't retake 6th grade math.

I think PP is asking about the qualification process for a 5th grader taking 6th grade AAP math (7th grade on-level math) in 5th grade

At the end of 4th grade, any kids who had a 145+ CogAT Q, a 575+ 4th grade math SOL, and the recommendation of the 4th grade AAP teacher will be invited to take a test for placement into 6th grade AAP math while in 5th grade. This only happens if the principal allows kids to skip up in math.
