any recs for futsal or soccer this winter for a 11 year old girl, that is mid-level? i.e., skills based, but not super loosey goosey and not hyper competitive 'must win at all costs'. thanks

Most the travel teams practice year round. Just see if you can be a training player for DCSC, Washington Capital United or DC Way

Last winter the DC Soccer futsal league held indoor games at the Sidwell gym. Pretty low key.

Brookland FC is doing mid-year tryouts for girls for the spring. We’ve been really happy with this club—excellent coaching, great team atmosphere, serious but not win-at-all-costs.
