| I'm thinking of starting a little side gig for some of the crafty stuff I do that people seem to like and I think is unique enough that I could maybe sell on the side. I already have a full time job, so sort of tip toeing into this for fun mainly and if I make a little profit great and if not it's still fun either way. The thing I'm struggling with is what to call this little thing of mine. In doing my market research, people seem to either use a variation of their own name, their kids' names, or something descriptive. So if you started a side gig and had to name it, when did you use for inspiration for the name? Just curious if others struggled with this. |

DH and I brainstormed on it for couple of weeks. We wrote down the candidates - it's important to see how the name looks as well, not only consider the sound. I checked any name for available domains (major consideration) and, in our case, also for option to trademark it.
I searched for synonyms to come up with variations. Once I had narrowed down the list, I asked input from some friends and colleagues. |

This is huge. When my friend who founded an IT consultancy says where he got the name, he says “it’s Greek for available on GoDaddy.” |
