Considering Karasik for our 3 year old and soon-to-be 2 year old. Does anyone have nay recent experiences? Thanks! |
Karasik is amazing. My oldest went here and my youngest will be starting soon. The teachers and current admin staff are great and responsive. |
We are there now and it’s absolutely amazing. We were at 2 in-homes before we got here and I cannot sing enough praises. The new administration is great and they are starting up all their pre-pandemic activities. |
We’ve been at Karasik for years. It had some administrative challenges a couple of years ago that impacted employee morale, but the quality of care stayed high. There’s a new(ish) administration and they’re wonderful - working hard to bring back events and doing a lot to recognize and support staff and families. Can’t say enough good things about the center and the team there. |
We have been there for about 7 months with an infant and am very happy. Great communication, always seem to be extra staff around (like in a good way to support the teachers), and like a PP said, they just did a rather impressing fall festival event. So glad that this worked out- plan to be there through pk! |
It's ok. Just check reviews |
All the reviews seem really positive. |
Oh I meant check the inspections reports online |
I mean it's not great they had peeling paint and some other violations but I've seen much worse |
This place is truly a gem! People care. My kid has been here for about 2.5 years and every teacher team my kid has had, has been professional and supportive. Admin seems to have a good relationship with teachers and other staff, which is important for everyone. They do a lot of neat events that I’m not sure other places do (they may?) like Rockstarts, visiting on-site petting zoos, events for holidays, etc. Parents are generally friendly and involved in supporting their classes and center. So, it has a bit of a community feel that was probably more apparent in the Beforetimes. This is definitely not the Lord of the Flies childcare of my own youth. |
