SG: Where are the IUI's done?

We are attempting IUI #1 this cycle. My day 11 B/W and US are in a few days and then hopefully we'll trigger soon after. I got to wondering this morning- will the IUI be done in the office I go to (Fair Oaks) or will we go to Rockville or another office. Unless I missed it, no one ever explained this to us. Also, when they wash the sperm for the IUI, do they also do the counts like a regular SA?

Mine were done at Fair Oaks. On Sunday I think you have to go to Rockville (not sure if Annandale does it on Sun.) But on a weekday, all the offices do them.

Yes, when they prepare the sperm for IUI, they will do counts and give them to you at the insemination.

All of the satellite offices do their own IUI's now (for the most part) - the only exception is on the weekends and holidays - you will then go to the Rockville office.
And yes, you will get a sperm count number at the insemination.

But be forewarned - if there are no docs or appointment slots available in your satellite office, you may have to hike out to Rockville for your weekday IUI anyway. That happened to be 2 out of 3 times, which was kind of a pisser because I missed a lot more work than I'd planned.
