Why do you delete replies to comments you’ve made?

I’ve read some and they aren’t rude, they are just a different point of view. Do you like your comments to stand unopposed?

But let’s get to mine. I asked if you recognized that there are still hostages being held by Hamas, which is why a cease fire would not be wise. Do you believe that to be true and do you believe if there is a cease fire, that Hamas will return the hostages unharmed?
