High chairs/chair straps for toddlers?

Does your daycare use high chairs or chair straps for toddlers who can walk and sit up independently? I heard in Florida and some other states there are regulation prohibiting the use of straps or other containing devices for children older than 1. Are there any regulations like that in the DMV?

Our daycare uses toddler-sized chairs and tables, no straps or containment. Not sure if it is regulated or not.

+1 No idea about regulations but as soon as they can sit in a chair safely and independently, they’re in toddler chairs at my daycare.
