My junior wants a bachelor of music degree. A lot of the schools he likes are schools that would be likely or safety if he applied for another major.
Some of the schools also have a two step process where you get admitted to the university and the major. So there might be students who are counted as admitted but didn’t get in to the music school. I know there are no safeties in auditioned programs, but are there ways to get a sense of who is more or less selective? |

The only college that I know of where you can really drill down into the weeds is VT. You can select the major and profile of student: gender, race, veteran status, in state vs out of state, pell grant recipient vs no pell grant, etc.
