Hypnotic - Ben Affleck movie

Anyone see this? I watched it on the plane yesterday. So, so bad. It was trying very hard to be "Inception"-like, but failed miserably.

I haven't heard of this movie. Is it a thriller? Is Ben a brooding character? Is there a too-hot/too-young for 50+ yo Ben love interest? Is there some kind of corruption or organized crime or substance issues? Does Ben overcome his primary character flaw or give in to it at the end?

Yes to all except the love interest, who is age-appropriate. I actually think Ben Affleck is a decent actor - at his best in Argo and The Tender Bar. This movie as a whole was just so dumb though.

It's so terrible. I chalked it up to a complete disaster about 15 minutes in, when he's waiting (for a long time) and takes a (seemingly long) elevator ride downstairs. When he walks out of the building to the car, it's a 2-story building.
