Fruit tree advice!

I need some fruit tree advice from you all! I want to put a bunch of fruit trees in our yard, but the difficulty is that the yard is already pretty full with other plants (we just bought), and mature trees limit the area that gets full sun. So, how much space to fruit trees need? Our gardener thinks figs will do okay with partial sun, but the care instructions say full sun. Anyone have a chicago hardy fig that is happy with partial sun? And how much space do fruit trees really need—there are some small shrubs in the sunny area and I’m trying to figure out how much I need to clear. I’ve got a peach and pomegranate as well! Thanks!!!

You need to look at the mature size for the exact variety you are planting. Standard peach trees are usually maintained at a 15 ft height with pruning.
I’ve seen some pomegranates in our neighborhood that are like large shrubs. And I have 2 figs, Peter’s Honey and Italian Everbearing that are planted on the eastern side of my house and get sun till early afternoon. They fruit well. Fig trees can get huge though if they don’t die back in winter.
