I am 50 and have put on 10lbs over the past 2 years. Eating less, exercising more, lots of weightlifting but couldn’t shift it. Had blood work done this week and turns out I have Hashimotos. Doctor thinks I will lose the weight once I start taking it.

I was able to reverse Hashimoto’s by removing all sources of gluten from my diet and focusing on whole food animal based diet. I also added lugol’s iodine to my morning glass of water everyday.
Most autoimmune conditions can be alleviated or improved with a proper human diet and sadly caused or aggravated by the Standard American Diet. Improving your diet will also help with any menopause symptoms you might also be experiencing. |
