Good afterschool programs in city of Alexandria?

Hi-- my daughter is in 1st grade in Alexandria (city). We have a nanny, but are going broke with the cost, and wondering if she'd do okay in Camapgna kids or at the YMCA's afterschool program or something like that. Does anyone have any experiences with these or other afterschool programs in Alexandria? We would love to find a cheaper way to manage care after 2:40 pm, but we are worried that the afterschool programs may be a little chaotic? She's a happy kid but not super outgoing, and she tends to shrink back when there is a lot of chaos.
