Bottled water

I'm sure this has probably been posted before but is there any notable difference from the gallon jug of generic bottled water vs Core Water, Smart water, etc????

I think so, but I’m picky about water. Of the waters that are pretty easy to get:
Deer Park is fine — and comes in a large jug. I prefer Fiji and Icelandic though, by far.

I very much like Virginia Artesian— but the Whole Foods where I used to get it stopped carrying it. At the top of my list though, is NYC tap water. If I had a source for bottled NYC tap water at a reasonable price, I would seriously drink it constantly.

To add: I’ve tried a LOT of waters at multiple price points — too many to list, including local brands, imported brands, and different types. There are expensive waters that I, personally detest, and there have been store brands that I’ve enjoyed. All of this is to say that price or popularity or advertising isn’t— for me — correlated with whether or not I like a particular brand of water.

I do like the taste of Fiji water best and Smart Water second. I never buy either of them unless I'm at an airport though. I can't justify the cost and the difference in taste isn't that much from generic store brand.
