Is it easy to take and score practice SAT/ACT at home?

Anonymous
My DC wants to try a practice version of each at home to find out which they prefer. I know they’re available, but can you also access answers and score them yourself?

Yes. I haven't looked at the digital version, but you can see the paper versions of the official practice SAT tests here, including answer explanations and scoring guide https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/practice-preparation/practice-tests/paper

Note that every test has its own standardized scoring scale. You can only get a score if you have the given scale.

We did this once. It’s much easier to do a digital version online, but you can absolutely do a paper version at home and score it. They have a guide to scoring it. Check College Board & Khan.
