English is my second language. I used to have an amazing job but had to move out of state to follow my husband. I worked a bank headquarters and had amazing benefits. I can't find anything similar that pays the same. Due to the bank being a headquarters there were a lot of positions available that aren't available at at typical non headquarters bank. I have an interview for a company that specializes in genetic testing. They say I would be helping customers learn more about a genetic test that helps patients who are living with mental illness identify medications that will work best for them. That's as much as I know about the company. The pay is decent even though is it customer service phone rep. They gave me a few questions and said I could be called for an interview based on how I answer these questions in written format.
What attracted you to this company/position? I see this opportunity as a way to helping others learn more about mental health and get the treatment they need. I have always been a person who blossoms in helping fields. Helping people gives me joy. The work for our Customer Service team is split between three main areas: 1.Inbound communications - Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing online inquiries 2. Order verification - Data entry, insurance verification and insurance benefit investigation 3. Outbound exceptions - Identifying documentation discrepancies, resolving missing order information, and providing customer service to patients, insurance and medical providers. Which area do you see yourself being most successful? I would do well in all areas as in my previous position at a X Bank; my position required all those responsibilities. Data entry and investigating errors were 60 percent of my job. I have eight years of experience as a bank keyer at a bank headquarters. In this position, I would compare data with source documents, re-enter data in verification format to detect errors, respond to emails, and contact doctor's offices or other companies via phone for verification. In reference to the 3 areas listed above, what experiences and skills do you have that make you the best fit for the area you selected? I am a cheerful, patient, professional person. Those skills will be great for talking on the phone and getting along with coworkers. I also have proven data entry and investigation skills, which I acquired in my previous position. A lot of the work I did was identifying documentation discrepancies. |
