http://www.hotel-grandes-ecoles.com/ We stayed here several years ago. convenient to the metro...very quiet...not expensive. You can check out Tripadvisor.com for other reviews.

We stayed at the Hotel du Square D'Anvers a few years ago. It is about one block from the Anvers metro station at the foot of Montmartre. We paid less than $100 Euros per night with breakfast. Had a lovely view of the top of the Eiffel tower from our microscopic balcony.

Hotel de chevreuse. Google it--I've stayed various times over the years and it's good for the price--it's fine.

We wanted to stay here on the recommendation of friends, but ended up at Hotel de Balcons - see trip advisor- we added our review as well. Excellent location, convenient to Odeon metro. Not lux, but clean, comfortable and we would totally stay again.
