Anyone else have a baby girl that pees straight into the air at diaper changing time? I thought only boys did this. |
Mine has done that. |
Only once (my son did it all the time).
Now if you want to talk projectile poop, my daughter wins hands down ![]() |
All the time. We have to be super careful with DD. Interestingly, DS has never peed on me.... |
Happened all the time when she was a newborn. Projectile poop in the face during the 3am changing is even better though... |
LOL! That happened to us once! Luckily only once, though. ![]() ![]() |
No, but my DD spent a brief period while potty-training of peeing in her small potty while standing up.
Glad that's over. |
Mine peed straight up or in a fountain because her labia were fused |
OMG DH has never changed a diaper before and he was so happy to learn we were having a girl so no pee to the sky thing. Great surprise when she peed all over him, the changing table and the wall on her very first day at home. LOL
I will never forget DH holding her naked by her armpits away from his body coming to me all disgusted with a yuck face and a whinny voice SHE PEED ON ME! And if you're not fast enough she'll even do the volcano poop thing. Goodness these kids are so funny! |
My daughter peed on me while we were still in the hospital. ![]() |
How do I tell if her labia are fused? She definitely is peeing like a fountain. |
Open her outer labia and LOOK INSIDE! If the inner labia don't open to the vagina they're fused. google LABIAL ADHESION and check it out. this is the less graphic i could find... ![]() |
My daughter had the projectile pees early on and her labia was partially closed. My pediatrician told us to use a q-tip to tug it down (and open) periodically. |
we do the qtip thing with every bath every other day to avoid fused labia. also wiping down and opening it with EVERY SINGLE DIAPER CHANGE is very important. |
