What's a good T75 below college for business?

Anonymous
The forum always talks about T50 and above, but what about T75 and below? Or does it not matter at T75 below what college you go to?

What about T50 and below? Not sure DC would get in with their stats -- above average grades and no spectacular extra curriculars.

Indiana-Kelly comes to mind as do the Jesuit/Catholic schools that rank well for business.

So I would suggest

Indiana-Kelly

Villanova
St. Joe’s in Philly
Providence
Fairfield
Fordham
Loyola Maryland

I’d also add in Lehigh.

Go to CC and then transfer to a top 20 business program, the others aren't really worth it

Disagree with the above advice.

Internships are important for business majors and community colleges typically are not good for placing students in internships.

Add in Marquette--their business program is great---school is ranked 82 or 84, so IMO close enough to T75. Excellent career center as well for internships and future jobs

If you spend 1 year at CC and then transfer, you still have 3 years at a business program to get internships and other experiences.

Perhaps I’m wrong, but it looks like the OP wants schools well BELOW the Indianas & Fordhams & Lehighs of this world. (I know IU’s overall ranking is way below its business ranking, but that’s fairly unusual.)

Perhaps the phrase “T75 AND below” should have read “below 75”? I think the OP might want business programs in colleges with overall or business rankings of below 50 or 75. In other words, schools where a bright kid with maybe a 3.4 gpa and a 27 ACT can gain admittance & thrive. It would be good to get a clarification from the original poster.

Come on, man. This is like saying there’s no reason to get married unless it’s to a supermodel. Millions of people are making a decent living in business who didn’t attend a top 20 biz school.
