Weird plan for afternoon with 12yo?

| It’s supposed to be beautiful out tomorrow. DH has sudden plans so I’m considering taking my 12yo DD to a park for a picnic lunch, swinging, a walk, and some volleyball. Is this too juvenile? |

| Bring lunch to the park and bring the ball, then just let things play out naturally. She might want to go on the swings or she might be mortified at the thought. And at 12 that attitude can change hour to hour! Take her lead. |
